DATABEYOND Raises Hundreds of Millions of RMB in New Funding Round Following Sequoia Capital China

Following Sequoia Capital China (now HongShan Capital Group, HSG), DATABEYOND has raised hundreds of millions of RMB in a new funding round. The round was led by Amber Capital, with participation from Shengqu Capital. The funds will be used to support the research and development of core photoelectric sensors and the expansion of overseas sales channels, laying a solid foundation for the company’s future large-scale manufacturing and global growth.

In October 2025, DATABEYOND's FASTSORT-TEXTILE was selected as one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025, alongside innovations from Unitree and DeepSeek. Recognized for its cutting-edge technology and significant application value in textile waste sorting, the invention received a "Special Mentions"  distinction. DATABEYOND was also the only high-tech enterprise in the "Recycling and Reuse " category to receive this honor in the 2025 list.
